What is Circle Song Sanctuary?

Circle song sanctuary is a place of building community based on mutual support, respect and presence in the moment.   There is no prior “plan” about how something should go or sound.     The practice was developed by Bobby McFerrin.  We use exercises developed by Rhiannon and Bobby to bring forth the creative muse in each of us.   We play games, improvise parts, weaving together a creation of vocal rhythms and harmony.    Placement of parts that are repetitive allows people a chance to get creative  a supported space.   Some have referred to circle singing as a spiritual experience.   When we are truly in the moment of being, a vortex for divine connection is created.   The result is connection to each other, to ourselves and to the a plac where the spirit resides.  The souls resonance becomes a place of alchemy,   We are transformed.   I love circle songs; join me for a taste of bliss.
